I found that some of life's greatest revelations can discovered on the open road with nothing more than an evening breeze, jazz on the radio, and a 5lb bag of gummi bears. I've also learned that I'll always have more questions than answers (and that's okay!). May this be a written and visual documentation of this crazy journey we call life.

Current Projects

I realized that I haven't shown any work from my actual jobs. I just started these two projects and I'm amused how much they resemble each other. For the National Park Service, I am redesigning the artist-in-residence brochure and application. For Arts Corps in Seattle, I'm redesigning the volunteer brochure and application. What I'm enjoying about both of these projects is that I'm given a lot of freedom as a designer (and for once, I'm not responsible for writing the content of either). They do have to be completed by August 18, but I tend to be a fast worker, right?

What I've completed so far is the cover for the Artist-in-Residence handout, and then just a digital brainstorm for the Arts Corps piece...just figuring out color, type, style, etc. Nothing final at all. I'll post as I go along so we can see the progression to the final piece.
