I found that some of life's greatest revelations can discovered on the open road with nothing more than an evening breeze, jazz on the radio, and a 5lb bag of gummi bears. I've also learned that I'll always have more questions than answers (and that's okay!). May this be a written and visual documentation of this crazy journey we call life.

We do have starfish...I've found a few in the water (both dead and alive). How did the mirangues turn out? I made a version of homemade lemon squares with fresh picked blueberries! It's rather tasty!

Sorry I haven't responded about your symbol dilemma. I've been brainstorming, but it really is a tricky situation. Did you consider for the climate one, putting in the white-capped mountains and river (as suggested) and then placing a sun, and a cloud in the sky. You could then place an image of a water drop and a snowflake in the cloud...Still a bit awkward, but it could be a start to something else.

My only thoughts on the glacier symbol are to try and use the form of the circle. I can't come up with much else symbolically to represent what you're trying to convey, but maybe if you use the circular shape and try to make the symbol have more movement and flow down the side of the circle, it might not feel as stagnant and awkward.

Hope that helps in the least to give you some new jumping off points. You're really in a tricky spot with these two. Let me know if you come up with another draft. --Also, I like your new symbol. I like that you kept it in a circle to be consistent with these symbols, and also the meaning behind it. I really like when an organization's symbol has some sort of significance on top of simply looking nice...so way to go!
