Nick Tobier

I was reading through the teaching philosophy of my former professor, Nick Tobier:

"Enabling students-artists-citizens to see themselves and their work as part of a social, formal, cultural, trade systems-- rather than as isolated acts--brings responsibility as well as possibility."

...and thought, hey, that's me! This is what helped foster my sense of civic responsibility in my art and creative efforts.
